GOLDEN MILK

This is a very tasty and healthy recipe as an alternative to coffee.


Ingredients:


  • piece of turmeric root or 1 tsp turmeric powder (0.20$)

  • piece of fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ginger powder (0.20$)

  • 300ml milk (alternatively: plant based milk) (0.30$)

  • pinch of cinnamon

  • pinch of pepper

  • 1 tsp honey (0.05$)

price: 0.75$




Preparation:

  1. peel and grate ginger, turmeric

  2. boil 120ml water in the pot; add grated ingredients; wait 10 minutes until it's mushy

  3. heat 300ml milk in another pot; add mash and stir in

  4. spice up with cinnamon and pepper; add honey for sweetness


Effect:


- immune strengthening, blood pressure lowering, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying
