SAGE TEA

Ingredients:


  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage leaves

  • 250 ml water




Preparation:


  1. pluck sage leaves from stalk

  2. boil 250ml water

  3. sprinkle sage leaves with hot water; leave to steep for 15 minutes (optional: add honey, sweet or fresh lemon juice)

Application:


- tea: against colds, sore throats, digestive problems

- mouthwash: for gum inflammations (rinse lukewarm three times a day)

- gargle solution: for tonsillitis and pharyngitis (gargle lukewarm several times a day)
