THYME TINCTURE

This is a recipe that is very easy to make and can contribute to recovery in the early stages of a mild disease.





Ingredients:

  • 50 g fresh thyme leaves (3$)

  • 100 ml alcohol (at least 40% vol., e.g. vodka) (5$)

Preparation:

  1. Remove thyme leaves from stalk

  2. Fill the herb into a glass container and pour 100 ml alcohol over it.

  3. Store tincture for about two weeks in a dark, warm place; shake daily.

  4. Transfer herb extract into dark glass container with tea or coffee filter (tincture in a cool and dark place, best before one year)


Application:

- for respiratory infections, colds, flu, mouth, throat and mucosa inflammations (take 20-30 drops diluted with water about three times a day)
